Emergency Winter Kit For Your Vehicle

Emergencies can happen at any time, so it’s always good to be prepared. Every vehicle should have an Emergency Kit.

Here’s a quick list for a Winter Emergency Kit.

  • Flashlight & Extra Batteries

  • First Aid Kit

  • A few warm blankets

  • Extra pairs of Gloves

  • Extra Hat

  • Battery-powered or wind-up radio

  • Charged phone or battery pack (for 911 calls)

  • Bag of Sand or kitty litter (for traction)

  • Ice scraper

  • Snow brush

  • High energy snacks (jerky, nuts, protein bar)

  • Gallon of water

  • Screwdriver

  • Bright colored flag or caution triangle

  • Jumper Cables

Your kit should be seasonal. Be sure to swap it out with a summer kit during the warmer months.
